Adventure Club: Springs and Rivers Field Ecology
Grades 4 to 127 weekly online lessons + 1 field outing day8-week session$350 per child
Students study Florida's freshwater ecosystems from a paddle board. Each outing is an outdoor field lab on the springs, rivers, and lakes of North Central Florida, such as Ichetucknee, Ginnie, Rainbow, the Santa Fe River, and Newnans Lake.
What students do
- Test water clarity, temperature, and dissolved oxygen, and compare spring water to river and lake water
- Identify native fish, turtles, birds, and aquatic plants, and log sightings in a field journal
- Learn how springs form and how the aquifer feeds them
- Practice paddle technique, water safety, and leave-no-trace outdoor ethics
Skills built: scientific observation, species identification, data recording, environmental stewardship, balance and physical fitness.
Note: Life jackets and all equipment are provided. Students should be comfortable in the water.

Marine Science Explorers
Ages 8 to 127 weekly online lessons + 1 field outing day8-week session$215 per child
Students explore the ocean from the Florida coast out to the deep sea. Each week covers one habitat and the animals built to live there.
What students do
- Build model food webs for seagrass beds, coral reefs, mangroves, and the open ocean
- Examine real shells, sponges, sea stars, and specimens under magnifiers
- Run simple experiments on salinity, buoyancy, and how animals stay warm in cold water
- Track manatees, sea turtles, and dolphins that live along Florida's coast
Skills built: classification, cause and effect in ecosystems, experiment design, ocean conservation.

Florida Springs and Aquifer Lab
Grades 5 to 105 weekly online lessons + 1 springs field day6-week session$215 per child
Students learn where Florida's drinking water comes from and what protects it. The class pairs indoor lab work with one springs visit.
What students do
- Build a working aquifer model in a clear container and watch rain recharge it
- Test water samples for pH, nitrates, and clarity
- Map local springs and trace how land use upstream changes water downstream
- Present one real water issue from their own county
Skills built: earth and water science, lab measurement, data comparison, public speaking.

Field Biology and Nature Journaling
Ages 6 to 107 weekly online lessons + 1 field outing day8-week session$235 per child
Students learn to notice the living world around them and record it like a naturalist. Each class is a short hike with a focus.
What students do
- Find, sketch, and identify insects, birds, trees, and wildflowers
- Measure and track one plot of ground over eight weeks to see what changes
- Learn simple field guide skills and build their own nature journal
- Collect data on seasons, weather, and animal behavior
Skills built: careful observation, drawing from life, classification, patience and curiosity.

Little Naturalists
Ages 4 to 7Online weekly (30 min), in person weekly (60 min), or both6-week sessionfrom $70 per child
The youngest scientists learn through their bodies first. Each class starts with rhythm and movement, then moves to hands-on discovery.
What students do
- Move like the animals they study: crawl like a crab, glide like a manatee, hop like a frog
- Explore touch tables with shells, feathers, bark, seeds, and leaves
- Sort and match living and nonliving things, and baby animals to parents
- Plant a seed and watch it sprout over the session
Skills built: early observation, sorting and comparing, vocabulary for nature, coordination and focus.
